So when I was out making my rounds talking about the Revitalize Maynard Collaborative with some local businesses, I spoke to a young woman working and Video Signals. I commented on how full the store looked—lots of books on top of an already-full selection of DVDs. She told me that the space is too tight and that they would be moving into the old CVS building once they had it ready. I was thrilled, to say the least.

I know that sometimes these things don't happen. I know that deals can fall through, landlords can screw up, and tenants can disappear, but I sure hope they get to move into that space.
Video Signals, we're all rooting for you!
That would be great for them. Wasn't that the spot that the food co-op was hoping for, though?
ReplyDeleteI was hoping that the Co-op was going in there, but I hadn't heard that they had any specific location in mind. It would have been a good one for them. Still, the co-op is probably a couple years away from completion, don't you think? They have a lot of work to do. I think they may have their eyes on another spot as well.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting that must've been for you! I bet you were darn thrilled to see a bunch of new faces around town, huh? At any rate, I hope they've been good tenants at that old CVS building. Keep us posted, Denishé! All the best!
