New Tenant for the Old CVS Building?

Oh, I am so hopeful about this one. You know that long-vacant building on Nason St. that used to be rented by CVS, but has remained empty now for about six or seven years? Well, it looks like there might finally be a tenant going in there. You heard me right!

So when I was out making my rounds talking about the Revitalize Maynard Collaborative with some local businesses, I spoke to a young woman working and Video Signals. I commented on how full the store looked—lots of books on top of an already-full selection of DVDs. She told me that the space is too tight and that they would be moving into the old CVS building once they had it ready. I was thrilled, to say the least.

I know that sometimes these things don't happen. I know that deals can fall through, landlords can screw up, and tenants can disappear, but I sure hope they get to move into that space.

Video Signals, we're all rooting for you!
