Holiday Shopping for Fitness Buffs and Outdoorsy People (part 4)

So far, I've done posts on Time Sensitive Shopping and What to Get For the Kids. This post is about recreation, outdoor fun, and fitness. Hopefully you've been finding these posts helpful, and hopefully I'll be able to deliver them all in time for you to get your shopping done.

Please forgive me if the blog appears a bit wonky. I'm having trouble with the formatting in Blogger.

Recreation and outdoor fun
You’ve got someone in your life that can’t bear four walls--nothing but big sky will do it for them. Let’s see if we can help you figure out what to get them, right here in Maynard.

Ray & Sons
One of Maynard's longest, currently-running businesses, Ray and Sons is more than just bikes. If you've never been in you might not know the owner, Ray, whose dad started the business in 1969. Such a friendly man, he is happy to help and will always send you away with a "God bless" and a smile.

If you’re thinking about getting a bike, but it’s too big to wrap or you’re ordering something special that won’t be in in time for the holidays, why not get a smaller bike accessory, put a picture of what you’ve ordered, or a gift certificate, with it and put that under the tree? When my husband bought us a tandem bike from Ray & Sons years ago, he wrapped a bicycle helmet for me. It was such a great gift.

Here's a list of other things you can find there:

Helmets
Bike pouches
Bicycle bells
Pumps
Repair kits
Water bottles

Bike lamps and reflectors
Phone holders for your bike
Bicycle tools
Bicycle seats
Unicycles
Snow shoes
Ski sharpening

Riding gloves
Handlebar grips
Knee pads
Bike locks

The Outdoor Store
